Gwajima Under Fire for Failing to 'Revive' His Late Brother

The Glory of Christ Church Bishop, Josephat Gwajima, is under the spotlight again after two children of his late elder brother, Faustine Gwajima, alleged that the controversial Bishop lied to them, for the past seven years, that he will revive their father.
The children Shama Gwajima (Israel-18) and Rapha (Ester- 17) Gwajima said, in a press conference in Dar es Salaam yesterday that they will file a case against their uncle over lies, saying their father, Faustine died in 2008.
"The deceit by our uncle has caused us to suffer psychologically. Our uncle has also abandoned our family since our father died," said Shama.
They pointed out that despite owning a chopper and posh cars like Hammer, the uncle abandoned their family since their father passed away and that they had decided to break the silence after the cleric started to insult fellow religious leaders.
"We have seen and read through newspapers that Bishop Gwajima has revived people dubbed zombies. We call upon the government to intervene on the matter and take legal action against him," said Shama.
They said that the Bishop has been conning people with problems using his church and that a number of people had lost properties due to him. Narrating the death of their father, the children said Bishop Gwajima allegedly told the mourners that their father was not dead but he was just asleep and that he will revive him.
"Our Uncle told us that he had the capacity to revive our late father. We have been waiting in vain for this promise," said Shama. When contacted, Bishop Gwajima disowned the children and their report.
