Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho visits France squad after Uefa dismiss drugs case

Mamadou SakhoLiverpool‘s Mamadou Sakho has revealed he has been to visit the France squad ahead of their Euro 2016 final, just days after UEFA dismissed a case against the defender for banned substance use.
Sakho was forced to miss the Euros this summer due to an ongoing investigation into the centre-back in regards to a substance being found in his system
The 26-year-old failed a drugs test in March after Liverpool’s Europa League quarter-final with Manchester United and due to suspension also wasn’t able to play in that tournament final, or the end of the league season.
UEFA dropped the charges against Sakho on Friday, deciding that the fat-burner the defender admitted to taking couldn’t be classed as a banned substance.
And the defender appears to be celebrating the clearance to resume his playing career by paying a visit to the France side and wishing them luck before they face Portugal in the final of the tournament.
Sakho used Twitter to show himself spending time with Didier Deschamps’ players, although undoubtedly he will be gutted to not be playing after his recent issues with UEFA.
According to the Express, Sakho is considering taking legal action against the governing body after the now-dismissed failed test resulted in him missing some of the biggest games of his career.
