Longido DED promises to work for district's economic growth

Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday after taking oath at the State House, Mr Mhina said he has accepted the appointment and his priority will be to oversee the work and performance of development projects and to ensure all set development goals were achieved.
He said that he would make sure he cooperates with all other leaders in the district to improve performance and bring development.
“I am very grateful to President Magufuli for believing in me and appoint me to hold this position,” he said. The lawyer added that the district has many challenges, but after his arrival at Longido it’s when he will know areas to work upon and ways to collaborate with fellow leaders to solve the existing problems.
“My major task that lies ahead is to ensure that, Longido District becomes the model for development in all aspects,” he said. Expounding further he said that in increasing revenue sources in the district, he will be more creative in changing people’s mindset and supervise them towards development goal.
