PRESIDENT MAGUFULI TOPS AGAIN THIS TIME WITH 100% VOTES

Tanzanians have witnessed many changes within a short period of time and that the same changes are expected in CCM.
There was no doubt that President Magufuli will successfully lead the party and this time he has scored all 2398 votes equivalent to 100% to become the 5th Chairman of CCM Party.

“Nobody is worried with President Magufuli’s leadership capability. I am sure that he has great plans and goodwill to move the party forward,” he remarked. Mr Anthony Maige from Rorya asked CCM members and Tanzanians in general to support President Magufuli in his efforts to bring about development in the country. “We are lucky to have President Magufuli as CCM chairman. I am asking my fellow members to support him and make sure we build up our country,” he pleaded.

He said CCM members expect the party to become stronger under President Magufuli’s leadership.“Our expectations are to see a strong party with strong leaders and members,” he said. Moreover, Mr Godfrey Mosha said CCM members expect Dr Magufuli to clean the party.

According to Dr Mahiga, endorsing President Magufuli to CCM chairmanship meant that both the government and party were in safe hands. “We expect Dr Magufuli to give us a new direction. It is obvious that things will change for the better,” he remarked.

In Dar es Salaam, University of Dar es Salaam’s political scientist, Dr Benson Bana, said CCM members must expect changes within the party.

He said being Head of State and party chairman at the same time meant that Dr Magufuli will be in a good position to make decisions without contradiction from party leaders. “It is a good move and Tanzanians must expect lot of changes from the new party leader,” he said.
