PRESIDENT MAGUFULI has dismissed Arusha Regional Comissioner

The new Arusha RC, Mr Gambo

Until his appointment into the new post to replace Mr Felix Ntibenda, Mr Gambo, was the Arusha District Commissioner.

According to the Prime Ministers’ statement, Mr Ntibenda has been shifted to PMO to be assigned other duties.

The new Arusha RC, Mr Gambo will be sworn in tomorrow at the State House in Dar es Salaam.

 Before his appointment into a new post, Mr Gambo was the District Commissioner for Arusha.

The 34-year old had worked at the Arusha City Council as Computer System Analyst between 2009 and 2010. He holds a master degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Management from Arusha Institute of Accounts.

Previous Mr Gambo also worked part-time at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology as Assistant Computer System Administrator in 2011. Just in 2012, Mr Gambo vied for the East African Legislative Membership and emerged sixth out of 81 hopeful.

In the same year, he was appointed Korogwe District Commissioner by Mr Kikwete. Later, Mr Gambo was appointed by President John Magufuli in July this year a DC for Arusha, the post he has served hardly for two month.
